Screen Shot 2016-05-10 at 16.15.58We try not to get too caught up in the whole award scene, but it is always nice to receive a little creative industry recognition for our hard work.  Putting aside modesty for a moment, we wanted to share the news that silver creative group’s website design for Torie & Howard won a Gold Award from the International Academy of the Visual Arts’ 7th Annual W3 Awards.  It’s an incredible accomplishment to add this prize to our Torie & Howard honor roll—which includes one gold and two silver medals from the CADC—and further proof that when it comes to website design, our mix of creative and strategic branding leaves a lasting impression on consumers and judges (although we focus much more on the former).

The silver creative name might be on the front of the award but the team atmosphere promoted here means that this honor is really shared among all the people who helped get the site off the ground, from the initial brand brainstorming sessions to the final lines of HTML code.  But because we don’t want to buy gold trophies for everyone, a hearty, most-grateful thanks will have to suffice.

Before we stop puffing out our chests (we’re almost done, promise), here’s a little more information about the award: “The W3 Awards honors creative excellence on the Web, and recognizes the creative and marketing professionals behind award winning Websites, Web Video and Online Marketing programs. Simply put, the W3 is the first major Web competition to be accessible to the biggest agencies, the smallest firms, and everyone in between.”

We’re launching a number of new sites in the near future, so apologies in advance for any upcoming blog posts where we humble-brag our way through another website design award.

We’ll now return to producing creative, strategic online experiences and let our work do most of the talking for us.
