As you probably surmised from the title of this post, we’re starting up a new series on the silver creative group blog called “Tuesday Tip of the Week.” Every Tuesday, we’ll present a short, but helpful, bit of advice from one of our marketing, branding, design and production experts. One week we might be have a short blurb on how to strategically use social media to enhance your brand, followed by a useful Adobe Illustrator shortcut the next edition. If there’s something you’d like us to address in an upcoming tip, feel free to get in touch. We hope that you find our musings valuable.

Tuesday Tip of the Week #1:

Your website should be straightforward because seven seconds is all the time you have to communicate the brand. The typical website visitor takes on average seven seconds to decide whether they should explore further. Be clear and to the point, but don’t lose sight of expressing your personality. Tell them what you do and why they should care.
