Geico is no stranger to the stranger side of commercials. Their sometimes shocking and always funny messages have made the rounds on cable for years. Their recent spot that debuted during this year’s Olympics carries on the tradition of the absurdly funny. The campaign titled “It’s not surprising” poses a very unlikely comedic scene of 13th century explorer Marco Polo in an above ground pool with the less than surprising reality of an actual Geico customer’s savings.
